Upon leaving university in 2012, Chris began his career in financial services for Lombard (Asset Finance) at their head office in South Yorkshire. Initially working in a middle-office analyst role, Chris was quickly promoted through the ranks taking up positions in both sales support and sales teams within Lombard’s Business Direct telephony division. This allowed Chris to gain valuable experience and a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end deal process which continues to serve him well to this day.
After a three-year period working in Lombard Business Direct, in 2018, Chris gained a further promotion to a field-based sales role covering his home county of Lincolnshire. As a Senior Relationship Manager, he worked with a range of commercial customers operating in different sectors, supporting them with lending across a broad spectrum of asset types. During this time, Chris built a strong reputation across the county and grew into a trusted partner to his clients, local professionals, and colleagues across the wider bank.
After six and a half successful years, Chris was rewarded with his next role and took the step up as a Relationship Director covering the East Midlands. Retaining a focus in asset finance, he began supporting larger commercial and corporate clients, getting involved with more complex and challenging transactions.

In January 2024, following over eleven years with Lombard, Chris made the move to work for himself as a commercial finance broker.
